SHOPPING FOR FALL

Fall is by far my most favorite season and summer is by a land slide my least favorite. So yes, I am that person that is always wishing and rushing fall to get here and living in the desert it is always a losing battle. I also may be the only person on the planet the is shopping the "pre fall" drops each season. And I am here to make the case as to why you should too. Even if you LOVE summer and want to hold on to it as long as possible.

Whether you love fashion or not, the truth of the matter is, it's gonna get cold. You are going to need long sleeves, sweaters, jackets, pants, boots, etc. And the faster you get in front of that need, the better you'll be.

Shopping for fall now gives you the advantage of selection. You are more likely to find your size or score that item now than you are in September when the weather drops and the masses are reminded that they also need warm weather clothes.

I personally like to shop for staples or pick up what I know I need for sure. Staples include, a coat, blazers, boots, etc. As far as what you need, you need to evaluate your closet, take inventory and decide what you are lacking. I personally was in need of a new pair of everyday black ankle boots (because I destroyed last seasons) and a pair of cold weather boots.

I do personally love a good blazer and when I saw this one at TJ Maxx I immediately put it in my cart. For the many blazers I have (and I have a million) I didn't have a plaid one so this filled a gap in my closet. I love everything about this blazer. The print, the length and the darts at the waist make this blazer classic and current. I can't wait to style this fall with a skinny jeans and over the knee boots! You are going to think I am a season equestrian.
