STATEMENT BLZER

If you ask me out to a girls night, I will probably show up with an outfit in this variation. Makes sense since a third of my closet is made up of blazers. My love for them comes from my corporate background. I learned early on that a blazer/ sport coat can instantly elevate a simple outfit. You can go from casual to business casual with an addition of a simple blazer. But they are not just for business. These days a statement blazer is not hard to find and I think you should have a few statement blazers in your closet for days when nothing seems to work. It can help you complete a look or save you when you don't have anything to wear.

A few weeks back, we planned a girls night out and I wasn't feeling the idea of wearing a dress. My legs aren't toned, I didn't have a pedicure and I wanted to feel good about myself and the only thing I feel good in these days are jeans. Well, I also didn't have any tops I was loving for a night out so I ordered this Something Navy blazer and knew I wanted style it with a simple t-shirt and jeans since it is such a bold piece. It gave me the spark I needed for an evening out with the girls without having to wear a dress.

PS. The quality of this blazer is very high for the price point and lucky for you It's actually on sale right now and I highly recommend it.
